Financial wise, Capcom is doing great and it’s a good news for all the industry to have one of its old developers and publishers coming back from the death full throttle. Recently, Capcom shared new details on the sales of its latest releases, including the unit sales for Resident Evil 2 Remake and Devil May Cry 5. But let’s begin our overview in order of launch; first, Dead Rising 3. The famous zombie-killing title of Capcom has sold 2.7 million copies so far on Xbox One and PC. then, the company has Resident Evil 4 HD with 1.5 million copies sales which is good for a game from two generations earlier.
Coming a bit closer to the time being, we can spot Street Fighter V with outstanding sales of 3.5 million units making it best-seller than Street Fighter IV. The game is now available for free on Steam and PlayStation 4.
Last year in January, Capcom released Monster Hunter World and now it’s officially the company’s best-selling title with over 13 million copies sold. The number will even go bigger soon with the launch of Iceborn DLC for the game next in September.
Finally, let’s have a look at this year’s launches. Resident Evil 2 succeeded to experience over 4.5 million unit sales, while Devil May Cry 5 has reached 2.5 million copies.
