Devil May Cry 5 Sales Surpass Five Million Units Worldwide

Capcom recently announced that sales for the highly beloved latest title in the Devil May Cry series, Devil May Cry 5, have exceeded 5 million units worldwide. This number includes the game’s digital and physical sales, but Capcom did not specify if it also includes sales of its enhanced version, Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition. Capcom previously announced in March 2019 that Devil May Cry 5 sales had surpassed 2 million units worldwide.Devil May Cry 5 first launched on March 8, 2019, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The game’s enhanced edition, Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition, launched on November 10, 2020, for Xbox Series and on November 12 for PlayStation 5.The game’s description and key features via Capcom can be seen below:

Finding himself without the use of his right arm, Nero enlists Nico, a self-professed weapons artist, to design a variety of unique mechanical Devil Breaker arms to give him extra powers to take on evil demons such as the blood sucking flying Empusa and giant colossus enemy Goliath.
