Devil May Cry 5’s Tokyo Game Show New Trailer

Devil May Cry 5’s Tokyo Game Show New Trailer

Capcom released a new trailer for Devil May Cry 5 at Tokyo Game Show today, showing series favorite Dante in action. Dante will join Nero and a third playable character, known as V, in Capcom’s over-the-top character action game.

We knew Nero was joining Dante in the task of taking back the city overrun with demons, but now we have a new playable character to meet. V, a mysterious new character who is a client of the “Devil May Cry” office makes his first appearance in the trailer, spouting dialogue with the help of a book of poetry— though Capcom stated that “more will be revealed about V in the coming months” in a press release. Returning characters include Trish and Lady.

For those that watched to the very end of that trailer, you’ll have seen a blurb about the game’s Deluxe Edition. One of the bonuses is a set of exclusive Devil Breakers for Nero, and one of those is based on the famous Mega Man weapon, the Mega Buster, set to star in the soon-to-be-released Mega Man 11. So as a little bonus, Capcom showed off how it’ll look in action, albeit with a few altered camera angles at times as a nod to Mega Man sidescroller status.

Devil May Cry 5 is coming March 8, 2019 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Check out the Trailers:

You get to see plenty of Dante in action, including his new weapon that seems to be a motorbike he can use to beat monsters to death with, and reassuring appearances from his long-time teammates Trish and Lady.

It also reveals the game’s third playable character, V, a guy who apparently speaks in ‘poetic verse’, which sounds a little unbearable. You get your first look at V at the very end of the trailer.
