Devolver Digital Announces Two Titles for Switch

Devolver Digital was part of Nintendo Nindies Showcase at GDC 2019 where it was announced that their action platformer game Katana ZERO will be releasing for the Nintendo Switch on April 18th, being able to pre-order now players will be able to destroy any foe standing in your way as you will be able to dodge attacks, deflect bullets and even manipulate time in order to kill them all.

Katana ZERO key features:

Exceptional Combat: Overcome your opposition however the situation requires. Deflect gunfire back at foes, dodge oncoming attacks, and manipulate enemies and environments with traps and explosives. Leave no survivors.

Hand-Crafted Sequences: Each level is uniquely designed for countless methods of completion. Defeat foes creatively, using spontaneous approaches to eliminate your enemy as you see fit.

Unconventional Storytelling: An enigmatic story told through cinematic sequences woven into the gameplay, twisting and folding to an unexpected conclusion.

Another title announced to be released for the Nintendo Switch it’s a shoot’em up puzzle game called My Friend Pedro. Developed by Deadtoast players will take orders from a banana as they battle through a violent underworld while killing everything that stands in front of you. Players can control the character’s body in almost any direction and the slow motion will let you shoot enemies while doing acrobatic moves. There is a neat feature that will let players generate GIF that can be shared over social media in order to prove your stylish assassin instincts.

My Friend Pedro is a violent ballet about friendship, imagination, and one man’s struggle to obliterate anyone in his path at the behest of a sentient banana. The strategic use of split aiming, slow motion, and the ol’ stylish window breach create one sensational action sequence after another in an explosive battle through the violent underworld.
