Devolver Digital Releases Trailer for Cyberpunk Action Shooter RUINER

Devolver Digital Releases Trailer for Cyberpunk Action Shooter RUINER

Ruiner is an isometric shooter set in cyberpunk world of future, combining grim atmosphere with colourful and detailed graphics (provided with Unreal Engine 4) which bear a slight resemblance to comic books. It is the first project from independent team Reikon Games, found by people who had worked earlier on games such us Dying Light and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Ruiner is created for PC (Windows, Mac, Linux) and will be released sometime in 2016 (with the assistance of Devolver Digital).

The game is set in 2091 in a fictional city of Rengkok. Upper class lives a happy life spending hours on exciting experiences in virtual reality, provided for the price of suffering of the poor. The player will become one of the latter – a psychopath trapped in VR who intends to rescue his brother from hands of an evil corporation.

Naturally, in the game you will be fighting for most of the time, using both various guns and melee weapons. You will also have some special skills and gadgets at your disposal, such as dash or energy shield. Generally speaking, the game will be dynamic, brutal and challenging.

Check out the Trailer:

“The masked hero will utilize a fantastic array of weaponry and gadgets in concert with fluid movement and tactical strikes to save his kin and discover the hidden truths of Rengkok.”
