DiRT Rally 2.0 is free to play
for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers from January 2, 2020 at 12:01 AM PST until January 5, 2020 at 11:59 PM PST.
In this latest edition of Xbox’s Free Play Days, players can access DiRT Rally 2.0 and its “iconic locations in New Zealand, Argentina, Spain, Portugal, Australia, and the USA.” Racers can improve their vehicles’ performance and their team over time and “rely on instinct in the most immersive off-road experience yet.”
Fans can find and install the game on the official Xbox website, or directly on their console by visiting the Gold member area on the Xbox One’s home dashboard (with an active Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription). To download the game on the website, players must be signed into the Xbox Live account that possesses either of the aforementioned subscriptions.
Once the free weekend is over, players who participated in the free access to DiRT Rally 2.0 can keep their progress and achievements, and can purchase any of the game’s three editions to continue playing at a discount:
NOTE: DISCOUNTS MAY VARY BY REGION.
Xbox Live Free Play Days provide an opportunity for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members to play new games for free for a limited time. All in-game progress, achievements, and items earned during Free Play Days, including Gamerscore, will be saved when the Free Play Days end and will allow players to continue where they left off, if they decide to purchase the title.
Xbox Live Free Play Days for All is the same concept as mentioned above, but for all Xbox fans, including those without an Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
