Arkane Studios is ramping up its video output for Dishonored 2 ahead of the game’s release next month, this time giving fans a breakdown of the different methods Corvo and Emily employ to make a daring escape from whatever sticky situation they’ve found themselves in.
It’ll be down to you, playing either reprising your role as royal protector Corvo or as Emily, armed with the mark of the Outsider and new abilities, to hunt down your foes and indelibly alter the fate of the Empire. As ever, you can go for full stealth, full-on chaos with brutal combat or plump for a blend of both. Check out the trailer below for more.
Dishonored 2 will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on 11th November, with a pre-order granting the ability to play the game a day early and a free copy of Dishonored: Definitive Edition.

“Before bursting through a closed door, it’s good to know where your attackers are standing. Using Dark Vision, Emily can see living being through walls to locate and attack or avoid them. A cool power that I’m intrigued by is called Mesmerize. This summons a void spirit that looks like a constantly changing geometric diamond-like thing. It completely captivates humans and hounds, and it just looks really cool!
Similar to Blink that Corvo uses, Emily has a power called Far Reach that lets you pull her character across far distances to go up levels, or simply away from enemies. It differs from Blink in that it also seems to be able to pick up and throw away from or pull enemies to her. Transposition swaps Emily’s place with her doppelganger, and Dominois really neat because it will link multiple enemies or targets to one, sharing the same fate as the person/enemy they’re linked to. For instance, breaking their necks.”
