Independent developer The Domaginarium announces their point-and-click adventure The Dreamlands: Aisling’s Quest. The Studio has previously worked on story-driven games Enola and The Nightmare from Beyond (currently in Early Access), and The Dreamlands: Aisling’s Quest marks an important change of trend, being its first fantasy-adventure game.
Check out the trailer of The Dreamlands: Aisling’s Quest, featuring some gameplay footage:
“The Dreamlands: Aisling’s Quest is an adventure game that blends fantasy and mystery elements, to present a gripping story. You must help Aisling face her guilt, and free The Dreamlands from The Mourner, a mysterious being that transports her into a world shaped by her memories, dreams and nightmares. The game will release on Windows and Mac in Q2 2018, with other platforms planned in the future.
Aisling’s world was abruptly turned upside down by a terrible event. An event that opened the way for a mysterious being to transport her into a world shaped by her memories, dreams and nightmares. There, she learns about The Gloom, a darkness that is covering and corrupting the land, and its source: The Mourner, the mysterious being that brought her there.
To save this land, and herself, Aisling must go on a quest to recover three treasures that will open the way to The Mourner, so she can face it and bring peace to The Dreamlands, and her own life.
“In the past I’ve mostly focused on emotional horror games, but I founded The Domaginarium with the goal of making different kinds of stories, regardless of the genre. The Dreamlands: Aisling’s Quest presents an interesting opportunity and challenge to live up to that goal” said Sergio Rosa, Founder of The Domaginarium.
