Id Software’s upcoming release of the next installment in the iconic first-person shooter Doom series, Doom Eternal, has received a look at the new multiplayer mode hitting the game called ‘Battlemode’. It’s an interesting concept for online engagement, and one that seems to fit perfectly with the chaotic moments harnessed from the Doom series.
Check out the new ‘Battlemode’ trailer below:
The new multiplayer mode arriving with the Doom Eternal will pit one player against two which is said to replicate single player mode in multiplayer fashion. The solo player takes on the role of a “fully loaded” Demon Slayer while the two opponents take on the roles of demons themselves. Players hit it off in up to six different arenas and five different demon types with new maps and demons releasing post-launch free of charge.
Doom Eternal is set to release on November 22, 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
