One of my favorite “pick up and play” games of 2014 was Door Kickers by Kill House Games. While much simpler in execution it reminded me of one of my all time favorites, SWAT 4. Its a top down tactical squad shooter where you pause the game to plan your next move. Now that it is time for a sequel the SWAT shields has been replaced with frag grenades for what promises to be a much more violent game. Door Kickers 2: Task Force North takes the action to the middle east and lets you take control over a military Special Operations Team. You are hunting a terrorist network and to help you there are drones and night vision. The tactical game play from the first game is still there and you have more options available to you than before. The game also promises to bring full mod support and for the first time cooperative multiplayer. It will enter Early Access sometime later this year on PC.
