Double Fine Is Bringing Broken Age To Switch

During its E3 Coliseum live event, Double Fine revealed that Grim Fandango and Broken Age are coming to Nintendo Switch.

Yesterday (June 12) Double Fine Productions held a live reading of its beloved adventure game, Grim Fandango, during which it was revealed that it would be coming to Nintendo Switch. Additionally, the studio announced that another one of its adventure games, Broken Age, will also be heading to the hybrid console as well.

Broken Age is a family friendly, hand-animated, puzzle-filled adventure game with an all-star cast, including Elijah Wood, Jack Black and Masasa Moyo. Funded by a record breaking crowdfunding campaign and designed by industry legend Tim Schafer, Broken Age is a timeless coming-of-age story of barfing trees and talking spoons.

Vella Tartine and Shay Volta are two teenagers in strangely similar situations, but radically different worlds. The player can freely switch between their stories, helping them take control of their own lives, and dealing with the unexpected adventures that follow.

Broken Age is a coming-of-age story of barfing trees and talking spoons. Vella Tartine and Shay Volta are two teenagers in strangely similar situations, but radically different worlds. The game also features an original orchestral soundtrack plus an all-star vocal cast, including Elijah Wood, Jennifer Hale, and Jack Black. The game is already available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Steam, as well as the App Store and Google Play.
