Lost Odyssey is one of the latest classics to join the roster of titles with Xbox backwards compatibility. The classic RPG made the cut back in September on Xbox One, but not as a digital copy, as an Xbox 360 disc was still required. Now, Lost Odyssey is available for digital download and it’s free until Dec. 31!
If you missed Lost Odyssey when it came out in 2008, or bounced off of its introductory chapters, you may not understand what all the excitement is about. For starters, it and Blue Dragon were two of the first projects from Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi after he left Square. I’ll let GR+’s own David Roberts tell you another reason why it’s worth your time, aside from the fact that it’s tough to argue with a free game.
