Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Avatar Transformation Trailer

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Avatar Transformation Trailer

The new trailer shows off a couple of the race specific transformations. These transformations are for the avatars that the players can use in the game’s expansive over world. The transformations, like in the show, are different depending one what race the player has chosen as the basis for their created character. The transformations are essentially power ups, that buff the player’s character. The transformations have different effects depending on which one the player chooses to implement, with there being variety even within the same character race. The transformations essential just do percentile based stat buffing and it is not known if the stat changes will be different from the ones in the Xenoverse.

The two race changes that are shown off the trailer are for the Saiyan and Majin race. The Saiyan transformation shows the customizable character finally is going Super Saiyan 3. The transformation for the Majin character shows the character going from resembling Majin Buu, to resembling Kid Buu, the purest form of Buu which according to Dragon Ball lore is equivalent to pure evil.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 25 in North America and October 28 in Europe, and for PC via Steam worldwide on October 28.
