Bandai Namco launched the close beta for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on Saturday, Oct. 8 for those who pre-ordered the game on PS4. Players just had a first look of the game’s new features. As previously announced by the developers, characters can be carried over from XV1 to XV2 although there are limitations with the features that players can import from the prior version of the game.
Another thing that players should remember is that they can only choose one Time Patroller transferred from XV1 at the beginning of the game. The features that get transferred to XV2 include upper, lower, hands, and feet equipment. Ultimate and super attacks as well as evasive skills can also be uploaded to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.
In the video we can see a little bit of the character customization.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 25 in North America and October 28 in Europe, and for PC via Steam worldwide on October 28.

“The Open beta can be accessed by all the PlayStation 4 players. On the other hand, the closed beta will be exclusive to gamers who pre-order the game in the PlayStation store only and they can avail it from October 8 to 10. Xbox and PC players might have to wait for a while since there is no word on a beta for these devices.”
