Dragon Quest Heroes DLC Heading Over to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Nintendo’s E3 Direct showcase opened up with a riveting look at Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s next DLC character(s), multiple heroes from the Dragon Quest series. Initially, it was assumed we would only receive Dragon Quest XI Echoes of an Elusive Age’s main protagonist, but after seeing the reveal it appears we’re getting numerous heroes from the series.

Check out the exciting new announcement trailer for The Heroes courtesy of MeriStation below:

It should be noted that these multiple new characters aren’t just skins, but each come with their own unique movesets, abilities and looks. We’re also sure to get at least one new stage with the new DLC pack as well. We’ll be able to get our hands on the new DLC for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate this summer.

It was also revealed that the Switch version of Dragon Quest XI, the S Definitive Edition, will be heading over to Nintendo’s hybrid console on September 27, 2019.
