Dragon Quest Heroes I-II Announced for Switch

Square Enix has announced Dragon Quest Heroes I•II for Nintendo Switch, It will launch alongside the hardware on March 3 in Japan and include both Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below and Dragon Quest Heroes II.

The title is a bundled version of the original Dragon Quest Heroes games for PlayStation 4. This version includes all the DLC previously released, plus some new additional content. Square Enix has not confirmed the release of this Switch version outside of Japan, where we are still waiting for the arrival of Dragon Quest Heroes II on PS4, set for April 25th.

The games are a spin off series of Dragon Quest, one of the most revered Japanese RPG franchises. These iterations reunite characters from different games of the main series and make them fight in a musou-style of gameplay. The second game expands on this concept and takes it closer to an action-RPG adventure.

Check out the Trailer:

“Announced at Nintendo Switch’s Tokyo Livestream, both Dragon Quest Heroes and Dragon Quest Heroes II will be getting their own Nintendo Switch release.

The unveiling game on the heels of the reconfirmation that Dragon Quest X and Dragon Quest XI will be coming to Nintendo Switch as well.

There is no set release date for either game; however both games have already been released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 (Dragon Quest Heroes II also launched on PS Vita).

With Four Dragon Quest titles coming, the Nintendo Switch definitely seems well placed to please the fans of the venerable JRPG series.”
