Dragon Quest Heroes II Second Trailer

Dragon Quest Heroes II Second Trailer

Today, Square Enix released the second trailer for their upcoming game Dragon Quest Heroes II. The trailer contains only Japanese dialogue, however, it seems to focus on detailing an assortment of the many characters to be present in the game. It also shows off a considerable amount of gameplay, including battles and puzzles along with shop mechanics. Transformations, mounts, weapons and spectacular attacks are also given time to shine in what seems to be a pretty comprehensive trailer.

Additionally, Square Enix revealed that the “Monster Coin” system from the first game is further evolved in the game, allowing players to transform and fight as monsters through transformation-type Monster Coins.

Square Enix also announced that it will add a “Multiplayer Battle Mode” to Dragon Quest Heroes II via a free update, as well as sub-scenarios / boss characters Dragonlord and Estark via free downloadable content.

Dragon Quest Heroes II: The Twin Kings and the Prophecy’s End is due out for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita in Japan on May 27.

Check out the Trailer:

“We’re still waiting for Square Enix to confirm non-Japanese launch plans for Dragon Quest Heroes II; however, it seems the publisher has decided to identify some of the characters who will make their action-RPG debut in DQH2.”
