Dragon Quest VII for 3DS Discover Classes’ Trailer

Dragon Quest VII for 3DS Discover Classes’ Trailer

Today, Nintendo of America uploaded the third episode of their video series for Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past. The trailer is all about classes (or vocations, as they’re called in this game), which is another of the central elements of many RPGs.

In Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past, you have access to over 30 classes/vocations, which is more than any other Dragon Quest game to date.

The video gives us three examples:

  • Martial Artist
  • Thief
  • Warrior

Ranking up in these core roles can earn you new ones, such as the Gladiator, Shepard, Jester, and Troubadour classes. The trailer also introduces us to the game’s Monster Vocations, which allows players to access spells and abilities that you can keep permanently, regardless of your class.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past is due out for 3DS in North America and Europe on September 16.

Check out the Trailer:

“The “Discover Classes” trailer tells us basics on Dragon Quest VII’s classes, along with a look at some of the vocations such as Martial Artist, Thief, Warrior, and some details on the advanced vocations such as the Gladiator that comes from ranking up your Warrior and Martial Artist.”
