Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen Announcement Trailer Released

Capcom has released the announcement trailer for the open-world action RPG Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, the game is coming to Nintendo Switch on April 23th. In Dragon’s Dogma players will be able to explore a variety of character classes and journey through the vast open-world of Gransys in an epic adventure like no other.

Based in an epic fantasy setting, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen combines exhilarating and deep combat with the freedom to explore and interact in a rich living and breathing world. Choose between nine different classes and embark on your own adventure along with three trusted AI companions known throughout the land as Pawns. These allies fight independently and develop as you embark on your journey cutting off the four heads of a Hydra beast, climbing atop griffins and defeating many more terrifying enemies in exhilarating combat.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is the re-release of the original game containing massive new content. The game was revealed at the 2012 Tokyo Game Show. This release contains the full original Dragon’s Dogma game, with all original DLC (bonus quests and cosmetic items pre-loaded; armor and weapons available to buy from merchants), plus new additions such as new enemies, quests, locations, character customization, weapons and armors.

All the content from the original game should be included for the Switch, Dark Arisen expansion includes the Bitterblack Isle map area complete with challenging new enemies, quests and additional high level weapons and armour sets.

The game was originally released on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2013, a PC version was released in January 2016, later a port to Xbox One and PS4 consoles was released in October 2017, to coincide with the 5th anniversary of the original release.
