Duke Nukem: 3D World Tour Leaked

It appears that the Internet has just spoiled Gearbox’s surprise as we’ve got the title, the first details and the first screenshots for this upcoming Duke Nukem project.

In order to celebrate Duke Nukem 3D’s 20th anniversary, Gearbox will release a “Remaster” version of Duke Nukem 3D, called Duke Nukem 3D: World Tour.

According to Reddit User, Tezla55:

“These are official. This is a Duke 3D remaster. In many ways, you can look at this game as a Duke Nukem 3D remix as there will be a lot of new/original content added in as well. From my understanding, these screens are just a handful out of a bunch of press shots that will be coming out in the following days.”

Check out the Screenshots:

“The most recent mainline entry in the Duke Nukem series was 2011’s Duke Nukem Forever, which wasn’t received very positively. In his 3.5/10 Duke Nukem Forever review, GameSpot critic Kevin VanOrd described Duke Nukem Forever as “bland and ugly” and said it turned a “famous gaming icon into an embarrassment.”

In July 2015, Gearbox Software founder Randy Pitchford said the studio had started production on an all new, “head-turning” Duke Nukem game.”
