While Sony’s second State of Play episode was considerably shorter than the debut episode, fans were still treated to tons of exciting new game announcements and updates. One game that looks like a casually challenging, dungeon crawling experience is Riverbond, and though it has been announced for quite some time – it seems like this worthy addition for those looking for a co-op adventure is finally releasing soon.
Check out the latest gameplay trailer for Riverbond from State of Play below:
The slick Voxel artstyle and co-op hack ‘n’ slash action seems like a perfect blend of casual gameplay mixed with innovative game design. The game looks to harness the destructive chaos of destroying everything around you while slaying enemies with your friends via local or online co-op.
The new trailer also gave us a look at eight new crossover skins added to the experience which allows players to dress up as numerous indie game stars, such as Juan Aguacate from Guacamelee!, The Kid from Bastion, and Shovel Knight from Shovel Knight.
Riverbond is expected to release on the PS4, Xbox One and PC via Steam this coming summer.
