DYING: 1983 Comes Out Q1 2021 to PlayStation 5

Nekcom Entertainment announced today that DYING: 1983, the sequel to the 2018 first-person puzzle exploration game, Dying: Reborn, is coming out Q1 2021 for PlayStation 5, followed by PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox One X/S, Switch and PC later down the road.Using props and objects found throughout the environment, the protagonist must find their way through dark, decrepit locations filled with puzzles, all while avoiding certain doom. Hundreds of items have been added since the first game to add a different experience this time around. The sequel boasts over twice the amount of puzzles the first game had available, as well as traps and enemies to avoid on the protagonist’s journey. The journey, while on that subject, should take around ten hours to complete. Little was shown in the trailer regarding the protagonist’s nemesis; the enemy who will inevitably be chasing the hero as they frantically solve puzzles to get away. Dying: Reborn’s main antagonist was a fish-headed man who was absolutely terrifying in the right, or I guess wrong, light. The previous title, DYING: Reborn, was VR supported post release. Nekcom Entertainment hasn’t commented on whether it plans on releasing this upcoming title for VR further down the line, as horrifying as this would be. DYING: Reborn was known for its interesting puzzles that had the ability to genuinely stumped the player. With the creepy environments shown in the trailer, all Nekcom Entertainment needs are some brain stumpers to bring fans back for more. Horror addicts most likely won’t find their vice here, but puzzle fanatics and lovers of the odd should be excited for this upcoming title. DYING: 1983 is set to come out Q1 2021 for PlayStation 5, followed by PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox One X/S, Switch and PC shortly after.Gaming Instincts is dedicated to bringing its readers all the latest and greatest news, reviews, guides, and updates for all their favorite titles and more.
