Dying Light: Bad Blood Will Begin its Early Access Next Month

Techland announced today that their standalone battle royale spin-off Dying Light: Bad Blood will arrive on Steam Early Access in September. This Early Access release will be coming for PC players only, but the game will be released on PC and consoles (presumably Playstation 4 and Xbox One) when it gets its full release.

When the game will be fully released is, however, unknown, but there’s a line in its press release which suggests that the Early Access could last three months.

The mentioned press release states that:

“The $19.99 Founder’s Pack provides in-game currency and exclusive items, including the Founder’s Pass that will deliver three Legendary skins throughout the three months following the Early Access launch,”

The $20 Founder’s Pack is required to join the Early Access phase, although when Bad Blood eventually launches later this year, it will be free-to-play. Various maps, modes and items will be added throughout this Early Access phase.
