Techland announced that the definitive physical retail version of its sandbox zombie survival FPS Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition has finally reached gold master status. This essentially means that all versions of this title are undergoing mass production to be shipped out to retailers. This is also applies to digital downloads of the game being made accessible through the Xbox Live Marketplace, Playstation Store and Steam.
This special edition of Dying Light: The Following includes the base game along with all of the update patches and DLC packs released thus far. Techland has stated that the game will launch on February 9 for the PC, Xbox One ans PS4 in North America and will retail at $59.99 MSRP. With this version including what the first iteration has in terms of content, the developer will no longer be shipping retail copies of the base game or support the digital download of it once Enhanced Edition hits store shelves. The team advises that anyone who is still interested in owning the original pressing of Dying Light: The Following across all three platforms for a reduced price or to from a collector’s standpoint should act soon.
