It was announced by Ubisoft in its E3 2017 press conference, Transference is a new psychological thriller in the works from Ubisoft and Spectrevision, actor Elijah Wood’s development company. The project is in development for both virtual reality headsets and traditional platforms, and is a disturbing psychological horror, based on its very first trailer.
Check out the announcement trailer of Transference:
Transference will be available in spring 2018. Other details are scarce for now. The game will invite players to “enter the home of the mind” as they stated. Elijah Wood was featured heavily in its announcement trailer for the game shown during the conference, talking in vagaries about this VR project.
Alongside Elijah Wood’s appearance, VHS-style videos helped to set the mood of Transference. This psychological thriller is part game, part film, according to both Ubisoft and Spectrevision.
When Transference launches next year, it will be available for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. It will also be compatible with HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR.
