Bethesda Softworks and Machinegames has just announced Wolfenstein Youngblood during its E3 2018 press conference. It’s releasing in 2019.
The game takes place in 1980, 19 years after BJ Blazkowicz ignited the second American Revolution in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Wolfenstein Youngblood introduces the next Blazkowicz generation to the fight against the Nazis. Play as one of BJ’s twin daughters, Jess and Soph, as you search for your missing father in Nazi-occupied Paris.

“Announced at the 2018 Bethesda E3 Showcase, Wolfenstein Youngblood stars Jessica and Sophia Blazkowicz, the twin daughters of Anya & BJ. Together, they’ll wage a tag-team offensive to take back Paris from Nazi tyranny and locate their father in an intense co-operative campaign. It’s up to you – and a friend – to uphold the Blazkowicz family tradition of Nazi-killin’ and save the world when Youngblood releases in 2019.
The battle for freedom also rages on in virtual reality in Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot, a new VR game also announced at the 2018 Showcase, as resistance hackers seize control of Nazi war machines to turn them against their fascist masters. Find out more here: New VR Experiences Revealed at BE3.
After Bethesda Softworks acquired id Software, MachineGames released Wolfenstein: The New Order in 2014 and a standalone expansion Wolfenstein: The Old Blood in 2015. A direct sequel to The New Order entitled Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus was released on October 27, 2017.
The majority of the games follow protagonist William “B.J.” Blazkowicz, and his fights against the Nazi powers. Earlier titles are centered around Nazis attempting to harness supernatural and occult forces. The New Order and its sequel The New Colossus are set in an alternate history in which the Axis powers won the Second World War.”
