EA Access Is Coming to PS4 on July 24

Five years after launching EA Access on Xbox One, the service is finally about to make its way through PS4, though the next generation of consoles will be coming next year to put an end for current gen platforms. Later next month, PS4 players will be able to get access to EA’s long-running subscribing service.

While EA revealed previously that it’s subscribing service will be available on PS4 soon, it didn’t determine a specific date for the launch of EA Access on Sony’s platform, which we assumed would be announced at E3 2019 but it didn’t happen until now that EA officially set July 24th as the day of launch for the service on PS4.

EA Access on PS4 will be similar to its Xbox One version with the same library of games. You can pay $5 per month or $30 per year to get access to over 60 games published by Electronic Arts. From Battlefield V and Star Wars: Battlefront 2 to UFC 3 and Need For Speed Payback, a wide variety of games are available in the service to be played. It’s worth noting that EA Access on Xbox One includes some titles from last generation, thanks to the console’s backward compatibility feature, but those games apparently won’t be available on PS4 version due to the lack of aforementioned capability.

Aside from having a huge library of games, subscribing to EA Access will allow you to purchase EA’s titles with additional 10% discount on them. So, if you subscribe to the service, you will be able to buy FIFA 20 for $53.99 at launch.
