EA Sports Will Not Release a Demo for FIFA 21

EA has announced that FIFA 21 will not feature a demo, the decision was made in order to focus the development team’s efforts in FIFA 21 for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.

We aren’t releasing a demo for FIFA 21. Instead we’ve made the decision to focus our development team’s time on delivering the best full game experience for current & next-gen consoles. We look forward to EA PLAY members jumping in 10 days from now and launching the game Oct 9.

Confirmed next-gen upgrades are the ‘blazing fast load times’ and improved sensations delivered by controller haptics, this will allow players to ‘sense’ the impact of shots, tackles. EA promises to deliver the ‘‘most authentic character behaviors ever seen in sports video games.’

Players who pre-order the FIFA 21 Ultimate Edition or Champions Edition on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC will be able to play from October 6. EA Play subscribers will be able to play a ten hour-trial of FIFA 21 from October 1. This means that players on Xbox Series X and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will get a demo of FIFA 21.

Microsoft has revealed that EA Play will be added to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate later this year at no extra cost. The news was announced alongside the pricing and launch dates for the Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, which will both be available on 24-month financing plans that include Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

FIFA 21 will also offer what EA calls Dual Entitlement, this is a free upgrade for next-gen systems, EA confirms that is as simple as inserting the physical copy of FIFA 21 on the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X and launching the game. Players who purchased a disc-less console will have to purchase FIFA 21 Digital Edition in order to enjoy Dual Entitlement.

FIFA 21 will launch worldwide on October 9, 2020, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam and Origin, Google Stadia subscribers will have to wait until the winter to get the game. EA Access and Origin Access Basic members will be able to try the game starting October 1st. All-Access members will continue to receive on-going benefits in FIFA throughout the season.
