Ed Boon Teases a Big Surprises To Mortal Kombat 11

Mortal Kombat

has received a lot of attention lately, the Kombat Pack is receiving its latest fighter on March 17 when Spawn is made available. But Ed Boon shows no signs of stopping as he teased fans at Final Kombat 2020 that a lot of surprises will arrive for the gory game.

Thank you everybody for supporting Mortal Kombat. We love to do these reveals at these events as a thank you for all of this support for all of these years. There is a lot more to come with Mortal Kombat as well, this isn’t the end of the whole support for this game. We’ve got a lot of surprises in store.” Said Ed Boon at Final Kombat 2020.

According to reports, dataminers had found what seems to be a Kombat Pack II data. A series of audio clips was found, one with the announcer’s voice stating ‘Fujin Wins’. Sheva, and Ash Williams are also rumored to be included in the next DLC. Surely the announcer calling Fujin for victory is a clear indication that the character was, or is, planned as a playable character. But perhaps it was planned for the Kombat Pack I, possibly the idea was scrapped. It is also possible that developers need more time to adjust the character and will release for the next DLC. All there is to it is speculation. It should also be considered that Ed Boon teased a big surprise, he didn’t suggest a Kombat Pack II.

A lot of feedback is given through Twitter, Ed Boon already knows what fans are demanding, a big surprise might be some of the most requested characters by fans. Mileena maybe.

Mortal Kombat 11‘s Kombat Pack is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam. The next DLC character to join is Spawn, who will be available to purchase for all players on March 24th.
