With getting the rights for full license of Italy’s Serie A, eFootball PES 2020 is now a serious competitor for FIFA 20. It’s for the first time within the last few years that PES is featuring a full license for one of Europe’s 4 top leagues. This also caused FIFA 20 to completely lose the rights for licensing Juventus in the game, as one of the world’s most popular clubs with tons of different trophies. Fortunately, adding Serie A license isn’t the only improvement of the new entry compared to last year’s title. The new trailer for eFootball PES 2020 showcases new features in the game’s Master League mode where you manage and coach your own team.
According to the trailer there a bunch of new additions to the game in order to deliver you a realistic experience on different aspects of the football aside from the pitch itself. In Master League, you’re the boss on the bench but at the same time, you have a close connection with other positions of the club. You can choose to play as one of the famous coaches of the real world and follow your plans to get the trophies that you are meant to achieve.
Negotiations and transfers now have a different form which makes it more realistic. Value of players and their weekly salaries are closer to what real-players are earning. Aside from that, talking to press and reacting to media will have great impact on your team and the pressure on your performance. Also, some big games like derby matches will be more important than other fixtures. In derby matches you can talk to your players after half-time and motivate them. Also some special features will be unlocked only for derby matches.
eFootball PES 2020 will be available on September 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
