Epic Games Store Free Thursday Includes Layers of fear 2

Epic Games Store is ready for Halloween, today’s the platform is offering the spookiest free week of the year, Costume Quest 2 and Layers of Fear 2 are free to claim.

Replacing lat week’s Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs, and Kingdom: New Lands, today’s offering are free to claim until October 29 at 8:00 PDT / 11:00 EDT / 16:00 BST. All that’s needed is a free Epic Games Store account and add both games to the cart, once the player hits the ‘Purchase’ button they’ll remain on your Epic Games Store library ready to download.

Layers of Fear 2 is a first-person psychological horror game with an emphasis on exploration and story. Players control a Hollywood actor who heeds the call of an enigmatic director to take on the lead role in a film shot aboard an ocean liner.

Game Features:

Story-driven exploration – You must explore the world around you. Discover your past, and expose the reason for your having been cast for this film.
Psychological horror – Is this part of the film, or are your memories playing tricks on you? Your world may change with the slightest of provocations, you must decide what is real.

Costume Quest 2 is more family-friendly, in this game, players control a party of kids who gain powerful kills according to the costume they’re wearing.

Epic Games Store also confirmed that next week Costume Quest 2, and Layers of Fear 2 will be replaced by Ghostbusters Remastered and Blare Witch.
