is adding more goals and milestones for the already successful Kickstarter campaign of the Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. The development team is seeking the $3.6 million goal, this will allow them to produce the Eiyuden Chronicle Card Battle option.
According to Rabbit & Bear Studios, taverns throughout the game will have NPCs that can be challenged to card matches.
Eiyuden Chronicle is produced by several key members of the Suikoden series. The head of the project is Yoshitaka Murayama, he has the support of Junko Kawano, Junichi Murakami.
Yoshitaka Murayama established Rabbit & Bear Studios and pledged fans’ support to fulfill his vision of the perfect JRPG, the Kickstarter campaign for Eiyuden Chronicle launched with the ‘No Limits’ approach, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes could’ve been produced with the initial goal of USD 500,000, however, fans are hyped about the Murayama’s idea, and a USD 4,000,000 seems possible.
“Eiyuden Chronicle is now the single most-backed project by Japanese people ever. For this project, I want to take the fans’ passion and put it in the game–that’s how I feel,” director Yoshitaka Murayama said in a press release. “I’ve seen people on social media saying this is the first Kickstarter they have ever backed and it makes me so happy to see that passion and support.”
“The 108th character was born through Stretch Goals. I’m sure some people are fond of this number, as am I,” Murayama said. “But that number was for Suikoden. While we have respect for the number 108, we choose to leave it here and go further. For this commemorable 109th character, we’d like to create a new character with everyone through a voting system.”
Suikoden’s Producer, Writer, and Director Yoshitaka Murayamaannounced a Kickstarter campaign for his new RPG project, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes in late July, his new RPG will launch for PS5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC in fall 2022.
