FromSoftware has released the new 1.14 update for Elden Ring which notably adds several PvP nerfs along with nerfs to the final boss of Shadow of the Erdtree. The update has adjusted the boss’ attack moves, decreased the damage, stamina damage, and attack range of some attacks, changed the action pattern when the battle starts, and improves the visibility of some attack effects. On the PvP side, the update decreases the damage of the Spears’ dual wield attacks, Pata weapon, and Backhand Blades against other players. Lastly, the patch also includes other balance adjustments and changes. The Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree expansion is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The expansion features “an all-new story set in the Land of Shadow imbued with mystery, perilous dungeons, and new enemies, weapons and equipment.”
