Sony Interactive Entertainment America have a PlayStation VR with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR bundle ready for the game’s release on November 17. It will cost $449.99 USD / $579.99 CAD.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an upcoming action role-playing video game being developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It will be the fifth main installment in The Elder Scrolls series, following The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and was originally released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on November 11, 2011.
The game’s main story revolves around the player character’s quest to defeat Alduin the World-Eater, a dragon who is prophesied to destroy the world. The game is set 200 years after the events of Oblivion and takes place in the fictional province of Skyrim. Over the course of the game, the player completes quests and develops the character by improving skills. The game continues the open-world tradition of its predecessors by allowing the player to travel anywhere in the game world at any time, and to ignore or postpone the main storyline indefinitely.

In October, Sony released a Gran Turismo Sport PSVR Bundle in Europe, and last week, it announced that the GT Sport package would come to North America, too. Curiously, the GT SportPSVR bundle comes with the original release of the PSVR headset, even though Sony revealed a revised PSVR unit in early October. If you’re holding out for the improved headset and HDR-compatible Processor Box, the Skyrim VR bundle is a safe purchase. Sony confirmed that the PlayStation VR Skyrim VR bundle would include the latest version of Sony’s VR hardware, including the headset with revised headphone cable, the HDR-compatible processor box, and two new Move controllers with Micro-USB ports.
