E3 2018: Elder Scrolls VI Game Announced for Next Gen Systems

The biggest bombshell was dropped by Todd Howard at the very last minute of the Bethesda E3 2018 press conference, he confirmed that Bethesda is indeed working on an Elder Scrolls VI for the next generation of consoles. It is obvious that they will not say anything more this early in development of the game, and considering that we haven’t seen official statements for the next-gen consoles as of yet, it is very far away and we might not even see it released in 2022, but this is all just speculation at this early point in time.

Below you can watch the teaser of the game that left fans crawling their skins for more details of the game:

So yeah, what a teaser did they show, we at Gaming Instincts are awed in amazement to what we though would not be news until probably next year, and as always, we’ll be covering as much as possible about this game as new information becomes available.

The Elder Scrolls is a series of action role-playing open world fantasy video games primarily developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. The series is known for its elaborate and richly detailed open worlds and its focus on free-form gameplay. MorrowindOblivion and Skyrim all won Game of the Year awards from multiple outlets. The series has sold more than 50 million copies worldwide.

Each game takes place in the world of Tamriel. The setting is a mix of pre-medieval real-world elements, often revolving around a powerful Roman-like Empire in a world with very limited technological capabilities, and high fantasy elements, such as widespread magic use, travel between parallel worlds and the existence of many mythological creatures such as dragons.

The games had amassed a huge fan-base over the year starting from Elder Scrolls: Morrowind to Skyrim, the latter has managed to sell over 30 million copies alone according to Todd Howard.
