Bethesda’s Vice President of Public Relations and Marketing, Pete Hines has confirmed a recent rumor that suggested that The Elder Scrolls VI will launch after Starfield.
Interestingly, Pete Hine’s information is in accordance with Throwaway1357 claims, an anonymous user who allegedly leaked information from Bethesda on the Elder Scrolls Fandom Community. The leaker affirms that thanks to the remote work policy, he got his hand on all the important details of the game, if this rumor is real, almost all new features and locations are leaked.
Disclaimer – This information has not been verified, therefore this is not factual.
His lengthy leak details several aspects of the project, he says the game will be called The Elder Scrolls VI: Redfall, and would take place in the High Rock and Hammerfell six years after the events of Skyrim.
He claims that for Starfield, Bethesda is planning to take full advantage of the upcoming generation of consoles to create “huge, epic battle scenes with dozens, if not hundred of characters battling on screen in real time”.
Starfield will also include several different ships, a light customization will be featured. NPC can be the crew of the ship, similar how Fallout 4 allows players to assign NPCs to different jobs.
Throwaway1357’s claims have an interesting plot twist, while he did have something right in his claims, the user admitted that the information he received is not factual, he says that he wanted to “provide fans with something to look forward to, especially with the world events happening, and I did not pick the right way of doing it.”
Almost the entire community has moved on from the now from this leak, but others are still wondering if he was busted by Bethesda and was forced to make a statement debunking his own rumor.
