The latest patch for the battle royale juggernaut Fortnite has been revealed and it adds a more stealthy approach to the game with the elusive Shadow Bomb. While the patch is one of the smaller updates to hit Fortnite in recent months, the new weapon definitely adds a bit more strategy to the game.
Players will be able to pick up six of the uncommon Shadow Bombs, and when used, players will become invisible and will last for six seconds. As the time duration comes to an end players will then become a bit more visible to players. The effect will also disable player’s ability to attack and build throughout the duration, but grants them the ability to wall jump, double jump and quicker movement speeds.

The new patch version 8.51 also adds a new weapon to Save the World mode – the Duet. This high damage assault rifle has a high-rate of sustained fire and comes equipped with a larger magazine capacity. Creative Mode also received new prefabs themed after various diners within the Fortnite universe.
Per usual, various bug fixes are also implemented within the new update, such as the Jetpacks sound effect glitch and Victory Royale UI animation bug. You can check out the full patch notes right here.
