Epic Games officially announced their first-time MOBA running on the glorious Unreal Engine 4 for PlayStation 4 and PC at the PlayStation Experience earlier today – Paragon. As any MOBA, the game features the standard 3 lane map, with minions attacking at your side, towers, playable unique heroes and main core bases to attack. The game is set in a futuristic universe combined with magic, stealth cyborg ninjas, big guns and plenty more. It’s quite exciting to see something new and fresh from Epic Games.
Paragon is running on the beautiful Unreal Engine 4 which screams nothing but next-gen particle effects, textures and overall impressive visuals across the board. It’s interesting to see Epic Games jumping into the MOBA market considering how populated it already is with MOBA giants such as Valve’s DotA 2, Riot’s League of Legends and Blizzard’s Heroes of the Storm.
Check out the cinematic trailer down below along with the gameplay trailer and the full press release at PlayStation Blog. The game will also feature cross-platform play between PlayStation 4 and PC seamlessly. The game will hit Early Access on Steam in Spring 2016 and beta next summer.
