Epic Games Store has just launched GTA V for free as part of their special free offers every Thursday, subscribers who download the game will officially acquire the game and it will remain in the user’s library. This special offer has gave Epic Games Store a well received headache, as the player’s response was so overwhelmingly positive and massive that, servers cannot keep the demand of subscribers who want to claim the game.
Users who are currently logged in are experiencing slow loading times , users who want to log in are getting 500 errors, the Fortnite launcher is having serious problems to give players access to the game.

For the moment of writing, is impossible to access the Epic Games Store’s website, we cannot confirm that GTA V will follow the previous Epic Games free Thursday’s offers, the game is expected to be free until next Thursday, May 21st.
Epic Games Store free Thursdays will continue until the end of 2020, the company has been sharing plenty of good news lately, yesterday, the company confirmed a close relationship with Sony, the Unreal Engine 5 was announced with a tech demo for the PlayStation 5 gameplay. Tim Sweeney also confirmed that Fortnite is a launch title for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. Finally, Epic Games is trying to deliver cross-play functionality for all players, as Tim Sweeney announced that the SDK of Epic Online Services is free to download for all developers.
Epic Games was also able to secure a deal with Activision for an exclusivity deal with its launcher for the launch of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1-2 Remaster.
