Etrian Odyssey X Announced for the Nintendo 3DS

Atlus announced today, that the latest installment of the Etrian Odyssey series with Etrian Odyssey X [Cross] featuring 19 classes including the new Hero class and more, is coming to the Nintendo 3DS.

Check out the announcement trailer of Etrian Odyssey X (Japanese), featuring some gameplay footage and the new characters:

“The game is called a “complete crossover of the entire series” as the very last brand-new title that will be on the 3DS. It takes place in a new land called Remlia, where adventurers from around the world gather on the flying city known as “Magnia.”

There are a total of 19 classes from across the series, including the brand new “Hero” class which we’ll get more information on later.

There are tons of labyrinths in the new setting of Remlia. Etrian Odyssey X boasts more volume than any title before.

The game systems are also crossover from past titles with features including character creation, subclasses, Force Boost/Force Break, and difficulty settings.

First-print copies come with the “New Adventurer Illustration Packs” which comes with five different class illustrations from a variety of artists.

Etrian Odyssey X releases in Japan on August 2, 2018 for Nintendo 3DS.
