It was announced today by CCP Games, that EVE: Valkyrie, the virtual reality (VR) multiplayer dogfighting shooter that Wired.com celebrated as “a soaring example of VR as the future of gaming,” and Gunjack, the visually stunning VR arcade shooter, have launched on PlayStation VR. Both games were created specifically for VR and build upon CCP’s leadership position in the VR revolution, as well as demonstrate the company’s commitment to creating immersive virtual worlds for players around the globe.

CCP has already delivered two free updates to Oculus Rift owners, most recently with the Joint Strike release, which added features like a new co-op game mode, a new single-player story mission, quick chat options, and more. This content is included in the PlayStation VR version on day one, and work is already underway on the next major free update to EVE: Valkyrie, due later in 2016. CCP will continue to deliver new maps, modes, ships, and other free content updates to the game over time, working closely with the game’s Founders.

In Gunjack, players take on the role of a gun turret operator on a mining vessel in the Outer Ring region of known space. As part of the ship’s defense team, it is up to the player to protect the rig from pirates, opportunists and anyone else looking to take what rightfully belongs to the company.
Gunjack has been the top-selling game on the Samsung Gear VR since its launch in November 2015, and according to VRFocus.com, the gameis “easily the most visually impressive and overall responsive gallery shooter on Gear VR.”
