Rebellion unveiled today Evil Genius 2‘s sandbox mode. The mode will allow players to unleash their criminal mastermind and create the evil lair of their dreams. The objective of the strategy game is to manage an evil secret empire and achieve global domination.
Check the new trailer down below:
Build your lair without having to worry about campaign progression or unlocking things – or about how little sense your layout makes. Fill your floors with umpteen pinball bumper traps and watch enemy agents bounce around perpetually.
Create the first open-plan supervillain HQ. Or make it impossible for minions to do their jobs by turning your corridors into a ridiculous maze; it’s up to you. If you want the freedom to create the villainous base of your dreams and someone else’s nightmares, Sandbox Mode is perfect for you.
Rebellion also announced incentives for pre-order customers, these include a 10% discount on all pre-purchases for Evil Genius 2, and that rises to 15% if you own Evil Genius on Steam. All pre-purchases will also include the Fountain of Youth and Trojan Horse in-game bonus items.
The Deluxe Edition and Season One of the game were also revealed, the premium edition includes the base game, Season Pass One, the Fountain of Youth and Trojan Horse items, and the Aurora Borealis in-game bonus item.
