F1 2020 Keep Fighting Foundation DLC Announced

Codemasters has just announced its support for the Keep Fighting Foundation, which is inspired by Michael Schumacher. F1 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Stadia has a new patch that features of Keep Fighting Foundation DLC. The premium items, which can be purchased together in-game, features a car livery, podium emote, helmet, gloves, suit and badge. Proceeds from the sales will go directly to the Keep Fighting Foundation.

In the current era of F1, fans are delighted by the talent of Lewis Hamilton, the defending champion of F1, with the rising talent of Charles Leclerc, Valtteri Bottas and Max Verstappen, but in the late 1990 and early 2000, the motorsport was dominated by Ferrari and Michael Schumacher. F1 2020 Keep Fighting Foundation DLC honours Michael Schumacher who is recovering from a brain injury.

“It was an honor for the studio to focus on Michael’s record-breaking F1 career for the F1 2020 Deluxe Schumacher Edition,” said Lee Mather, F1 Franchise Game Director at Codemasters. “We are equally proud to support the Keep Fighting Foundation. Many of our players regard Michael as the greatest of all time, and we know the exclusive items will prove incredibly popular.”

Schumacher is the only driver in history to win seven Formula One World Championships, five of which he won consecutively. The most successful driver in the history of the sport, Schumacher holds the records for the most World Championship titles (7), the most Grand Prix wins (91), the fastest laps (77) and the most races won in a single season (13), and according to the official Formula One website, Schumacher was “statistically the greatest driver the sport has ever seen” at the time of his retirement from the sport.
