According to The Verge’s Tom Warren in his weekly newsletter Notepad, Fable will launch in Q4 of 2025. Microsoft recently confirmed the title would launch in 2025, so this report may have some legitimacy. If true, this means the title will launch between October and December. Additionally, Warren claims the title may launch after the recently announced Gears of War: E-Day. Fable will launch for Xbox Series X/S and PC in 2025.
Fable’s details:
What does it mean to be a hero? In last year’s trailer, that question was answered by Dave, a gardener-turned-giant with a chip on his shoulder. This year, we get a much darker take from Humphry, played by the British comedy actor Matt King. Humphry was once Albion’s greatest Hero, but those glory days are long gone. In Fable, Humphry will be forced out of retirement when a mysterious figure from his past threatens the very existence of Albion.
Playground Games also confirmed its collaboration with Eidos Montreal, who will be supporting the ongoing development of Fable, which will be coming to players in 2025.
The game’s details via the publisher:
What does it mean to be a Hero? Well, in the fairytale land of Albion, that is entirely up to you. With a dark threat looming, and in a world where your reputation precedes you, your choices will change Albion forever.
