If a company like Sony or Activision or who ever owns Crash Bandicoot is not interested in making a sequel for the fans, then it’s always to the fans to make that happen, that is until the copyright owner throws the thor’s hammer to the project and effectively cancels it, or maybe they decide to let the fans do the game. Whichever the outcome is, according to an IGN article, an user of You tube that goes by the alias “Anisotropic” is currently attempting to create an unofficial remake of the original Crash Bandicoot game that initially debuted as the original PlayStation’s Mario Killer back in the days. The game is currently being made using Epic’s Unreal Engine 4 and the results are looking pretty nice.

If anything, these videos should definitely leave you with something to look forward with anything regarding Crash Bandicoot during this modern times; back in 2014, there were strong rumors that Sony might have been in talks with Activision to buy back the franchise after the franchise was lost with the dissolution of Vivendi Universal, but it turned out that was not the case and many fans were disappointed, but still I guess it’s up to the fans to relive the good old days of the franchise using modern technology, we’ll just have to wait and see.
