Fate/Samurai Remnant Update Adds Several New Features

Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Omega Force have announced the release of the 1.03 update for Fate/Samurai Remnant. The update adds several new features such as the new “Apprentice” and “Fatal Sword” difficulty levels, several playable Rogue Servants for the Battle Recollections mode, and some bug fixes. Fate/Samurai Remnant is available now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. In Fate/Samurai Remnant, players will participate in the Waxing Moon Ritual and will join the fierce battle in Edo from the perspective of Miyamoto Iori, a ronin, and his Servant Saber who suddenly appeared before him.”The patch notes via the developer:VERSION 1.03 UPDATE INFORMATIONPatch Notes

  • Added the “Apprentice” and “Fatal Sword” difficulty levels.
  • You can now control Rogue Servants and other teams in “Battle Recollections.”
  • Fixed an issue where it was impossible to complete the “Networking: Ninja Trainee” commission when a certain condition was met on the second playthrough onwards.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the game to stop responding when a certain condition was met.
  • Added Feature: Battle Recollections

  • New Difficulty Levels

 

Apprentice – An easier difficulty for players less familiar with action gameplay or want to focus on enjoying the story.

  • Lower attack and HP for enemies.
  • Enemies will be knocked down for longer and the gap after attacks will be extended, etc.

Fatal Sword – A harder difficulty for players looking for more challenging battles.

  • Higher attack and HP for enemies.
  • No retries.
  • No use of items during battle, etc.
