Xbox Game Pass is a subscription based service that features over 350 free games, available as long as the user is subscribed to the service. The service costs 9.99$ a month for console users and 4.99$ for PC. Ultimate subscription includes both PC and console bundled with the online functionality. Xbox Live Gold goes for $44.99 quarterly. New subscribers can start from $1 for the first month.
Earlier this month, Xbox boss Phil Spencer spoke about Xbox Game Pass, saying that the service has expanded the gaming industry by providing players with a diverse library of games from which to choose.
“We see players willing to take risks on new games and new genres because when you’re already in the subscription it’s as easy as clicking on something, downloading the game, and starting to play,” Spencer told GameInformer. “The diversity of content in Game Pass, the genres in Game Pass, the things people play, I think it’s a really healthy part of our industry.”
Xbox Game Pass features an ever-expanding library of over 350 titles, recently AAA titles like Halo: Reach, Grand Theft Auto V, The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, and Rage 2 were made available.
