Figment Announced in a New Trailer

It was revealed by Bedtime Digital Games, creators of the critical and commercial success Back To Bed, a first look at their upcoming PC and console title, Figment in a new trailer.

Check out the reveal trailer of Figment, featuring some gameplay footage:

“The game’s debut trailer gives players a first glimpse at its gorgeous, hand-drawn world; its mix of challenging puzzles and satisfying combat; and the musical numbers at the heart of this inventive action-adventure.

Figment is set deep in the recesses of the human mind. Join Dusty, the mind’s former voice of courage, as he ventures on a journey to get back to his old self. As Dusty, players will battle nightmares as he explores different fragments of the mind, attempting to restore the courage that’s been lost.

Klaus Pedersen, CEO of Bedtime Digital Games, said: “We’re really excited to finally show Figment to the public. We poured our heart and soul in this game to go above and beyond what we did with Back to Bed instead of staying in our comfort zone.”

He added: “We never cut any corners with Figment. Every little detail of the game is meticulously handcrafted, and I’m sure that players will feel the dedication of team once they get the game in their hands for the first time.”

Figment will be exclusively playable at this weekend’s EGX Rezzed in London. It’s set for release on PC and major consoles later this year. Find out more about the game below.

About Figment

A musical action-adventure set in the recesses of the human mind… Welcome to the world of Figment. A strange and surreal world; a place filled with our deepest thoughts, urges and memories, populated by the many voices we hear in our heads.

This mind has been quiet and calm for many years. But something has changed. New thoughts have started to emerge – taking the shape of nightmarish creatures who spread fear wherever they go. The only hope is for the grumpy Dusty, the mind’s former voice of courage, to get back to his old self and help the mind to face its fears.

Join Dusty and his ever-optimistic friend, Piper, on an adventure through the different sides of the mind, solving puzzles to set things straight, beating back the nightmares and seeking to restore the courage that’s been lost.”
