In a recent Fantasian Neo Dimension interview with 4Gamer, Final Fantasy producer Naoki Yoshida claimed that Square Enix now plans to release games simultaneously on Xbox moving forward. This is as opposed to several titles being PlayStation console exclusives. “In the future, Square Enix titles will be released simultaneously on each platform more and more,” said Yoshida. “But since this is close to the first release, we would like Xbox users to play it as well.”
In a recent interview with Game Reactor, Final Fantasy XIV director and producer Naoki Yoshida revealed that Square Enix is “having discussions” and “working towards” having the MMORPG launch on Nintendo’s consoles. The specific Nintendo however, was not specified.
