Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier Ends Service on January 11

Square Enix has announced that the mobile free-to-play battle royale game Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier will end service on January 11, 2023, as “we haven’t been able to deliver the experience that we were hoping to.” As a result, the publisher has removed the Shinra Credits in-game currency from the in-game shop, but the remaining credits can be used until the service ends. Additionally, support for the non-English languages will end on October 31. Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier launched on November 17, 2021 for iOS and Android.
